Olivia Hallagan
MS, CCC-SLP

Olivia Hallagan, MS, CCC-SLP is the lead therapist and founder of Park Ridge Speech Therapy. She was born and raised in Park Ridge and always stayed involved with the community by working at Brickton Art Center and volunteering at Have Dreams and with Avenues to Independence. Olivia is excited to bring her clinical expertise back to the community and help support children and families through speech and language development.

 

Olivia received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Marquette University. She has experience in a variety of settings including private practice, private and public school based services, therapeutic preschool and kindergarten classrooms, telehealth, home and daycare based services, and Early Intervention (EI). She has experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, global delay, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, genetic syndromes, etc. 

 

Olivia is certified in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a therapy model that focuses on supporting all areas of development for toddlers and young children with autism or suspected autism. Her special interest areas include early language, phonology, apraxia, and nasal air emission. Additionally, she has experience working on tongue thrust remediation, articulation, expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language disorders, and AAC.

 

Olivia enjoys working directly with families and teachers to best support each client. She makes sure therapy is fun and engaging for each child and that home practice is quick and doable during everyone's busy lives.
