"We had a wonderful experience with Olivia. My toddler and I both liked her so much that we kept seeing her beyond the point that he really needed it! Olivia was able to quickly bond with my toddler. She is fun and engaging, so she can hold a child's interest while seamlessly incorporating strategies for encouraging speech and building vocabulary. She was also great with me, and offered/modeled clear advice and useful strategies along with the reasoning behind them. "Olivia is amazing! We had my son start with Olivia when he was 16 months old. At the time, my son was producing no words, not really pointing, and inconsistently following directions. My son absolutely loved her (and so did we). She engaged so well with him and was so attentive. She wrote down comments during the whole session and provided detailed feedback. She also left us a simple report and together we would decide on a goal to work on every week. Not only were these sessions important for my son, but they were also important for me. I watched the way she worked and talked with my son and I felt like I was able to offer really support to him through the week. She was also reassuring to me. About 2 months into our sessions, I finally broke down and started crying wondering if my son was ever going to talk. She was so reassuring... she was my therapist too! Now my son is 24 months old and just "graduated" from her services. He never stops talking! We were so sad to see her go, but so happy with the immense growth he made in such a short amount of time."
"I could not be happier with the service we received with Olivia. She was such a joy to have around and she is so great with kids! She worked with my two daughters, my oldest first and then when she was ready to graduate, Olivia quickly jumped in to treat my second child when we noticed similar delays. Both girls are speaking perfectly now and since we've graduated they just keep asking when Olivia will be back. She made speech work fun, they had so many laughs, but it was also very effective. She provided clear goals and helpful tips/homework to practice every week. I always felt like I clearly understood the issues and the tips to help improve articulation. I was so impressed!
